Hello...I'm fairly new to Access but determined to learn
all that I can. (I'll try to keep it short) Here's the
situation: I'm building a Personnel Records Check out
database. In Air Force, (which I'm in) there is a central
location that stores hardcopy personnel records on all
members assigned to a specific location. Authorized
individuals may check out any number amount of records for
up to 72 hours. The individual can either check out the
entire record or a just sub-folder in the record. My
vision is to create a database for the records tech that
has a combo-box that list names and socials of all
records. The tech then selects the records to be checked
out and clicks a button that forwards those records to
either the entire record checkout list box or the sub-
folder list box. These records will somehow be associated
with the person who checked it out.
How do I get the selected personnel from the combo-box to
either of the two record check out boxes???...then when
they return the record, return the checked out personnel
to the combo-box??? Is this possible? Is it worth your
time??? If it is, i'd truely appreciate it...thank you so
much.
