Track changes colours are the same

I use track changes in Word a lot, and since upgrading to Word 2003 I have
noticed that all changes by different reviewers come out in the same colour.
I have the colours set to "By Author" on the Track Changes tab at Tools |
Options, and I would expect each reviewer's comments to be in a different
colour, but they aren't. When I hover the cursor over an amendment I can see
the different reviewers' names, so I know they're not all by the same person.

In Word 2000, this feature worked as expected. Has something changed?
