track changes?

In Word 2004, "track changes" makes a document hard to read-- how can i
set it to leave in the words omitted with a visible strike through when
I hit delete, rather than putting them into a "bubble" on the side?

This is dependent upon your preferences (choose Word > Preferences >
Track Changes). m.
