Tracking Gantt I

Hello Everyone!!

I have a resource working on three different tasks – Task A, Task B, Task C
simultaneously with unit contribution of 25%, 25% and 50% respectively. All
tasks start together and end together.

Task Start Finish Unit % Duration Work

Task A 3/23/05 5/30/05 25 52 d 98 h
Task B 3/23/05 5/30/05 25 52 d 98 h
Task c 3/23/05 5/30/05 50 52 d 196 h

When I view this schedule in a ‘Tracking Gantt’ view, Task C shows critical
even though the task status shows ‘On Schedule’. I am not really sure that
why a task which is on schedule be a critical one. Can somebody think of what
might have gone wrong? Please suggest me. Thanks a lot in advance. I
appreciate your help.

KT

PS: I have two more questions likely related to this tracking Gantt. I will
post them separately.

Hello KT
<<why a task which is on schedule be a critical one>>
These 2 notions are completely different and have nothing to do one with the
other.
Critical means "Slack = 0". That is to say that any delay on that task would
postpone the end of the project. But you say that it is "On Schedule". So
there is no problem.
