G'Day, My aim is to create a database for tracking roughly 50 items which go
on 10 or so trucks, for the day, and are then meant to be returned. At the
moment there are no means of controlling what’s going where, and we are
constantly "loosing" this expensive stock. I will clarify. There’s about
20-odd pipes, and 20-odd clips. 1 truck can take between none and all in a
day, or even for a few days. Ideally i want a form that asks how many
'xxxxxx's are going with what truck, another for returned stock. Also for the
database to automatically deduct and add back to the initial amount or items
with every operation. i would like it fully recorded, so i can print reports
on 'trends' to find out 'where' the missing stuff goes, i.e. what trucks are
loosing them. Perhaps a few automated fields to simplify the process would be
good too, like automatically adding a date stamp to each operation. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
