I am trying to obtain receipt of email. The instructions say go to tools,
options, and there should be tab with email options that will let me
choose.
I have no such tab. They only email option shown is for the signature.
Any
suggestions.
1. You're in the wrong newsgroup. This group is about Microsoft Access, a
database program. Try posting in microsoft.public.outlook.
2. Both Outlook and Outlook Express have *many* tabs in their options
dialogs. If you have Outlook (from office, not outlook express) when you
click Tools -> Options, you get a dialog box with several tabs. The tab
that has the focus is labelled "Preferences" on the Preferences tab, is a
button labelled "Email Options" I think that's what you're looking for.
Click that button and you get another dialog box that has a button that says
"Tracking Options". If you are trying to do this in Outlook Express, click
Tools -> Options and goto the Reciepts tab.
