Tracking phone calls

I am looking for a template to keep track of telephone conversations with
vendors. Most of my conversations are in reference to invoices and such.

The cusontact database template that comes with Access includes a pop-up
form to enter call details. I have used it as a base for several databases
in the past.

I also need help creating a report that list the calls with the call notes on
it. I am not proficient enought to create it myself. Any ideas??

I don't have that template loaded on my PC at the moment. I would think the
wizard would at least get you started. You would include the call details
table and the associated customer table. The detail would be the call data,
then group would be the person.

The wizard is not letting me build it. I went and posted a request for a
similar template that will include the telephone conversations. I am not
familiar with access but have found that it is very helpful if I can just
download a template and use it. thank you for your time.

Access is a tool to develop datbases and application. Just like Excel, or
Word, you must build what you want. Putting in a request for a template
will most likely not happen for several years.

If you can't modify the design to build basic reports, then you are gonna be
out of luck. You will need to pay someone to do this for you, or find a
boxed solution off the shelf.

Access is the toolbox and the supplies. You have to put them together the
way you want to produce the finished product.

Wow! Really?? I will keep trying. I guess trial and error will teach me.
I just wish I was more knowledgable with it is all. If you happen to come
across anything please send it my way.

Where would I find this "cusontact database template that comes with

When I select "New" from the file menu, Then select "Templates on my
computer", a window pops up with two tabs on it. The second tab (Databases)
Includes about ten files one of which is "Contact Management".

If you did not load these when you installed Access, they may have to be
retrieved from the CDs.
