Can you track who in your company or which computers have used the product
key for microsoft office professional?

I've used Belarc Advisor to find out what is on which machine, and then
Excel to track; machine s/n, users, and keys...etc.

I use Belarc on my personal computers so that I know what's loaded on which
system. It's easy to get confused or forget.

Buddy of mine runs IT dept at our local power company, he's the one that
clued me into Belarc and using Excel, but he also keeps a printout of Belarc
in a plastic sheet protector and sticks it right on the side of each
machine.

That is an *excellent* idea. It's tough enough with keeping track of what's
on three computers here at home plus my mom's. I should use some of my
plastic sleeves. (I always keep a box of them on hand.)

It won't work at home :)
I have 3 machines downstairs and 1 upstairs...no one claims responsibility
for any (except me & mine). Something mysterious is always happening. I
think we have a cat burglar that sneaks in at night and messes with
everyone's machine (except mine)
