tranfering doucuments

i have a new lap top with office 2007. my son did a report and he downloaded
it onto a memory stick . then when i go to my home compter which has office
2000 .the doucment comes up like you dont have the correct pdf file , i do
have acrobate reader 8.0.1 on both

This question does not appear to have anything to do with Microsoft Access,
the subject of this newsgroup. Is the report document a .pdf file? a Word
document? Something else?

I'd suggest you repost in a forum appropriate to the software you're using.
