Transerring contact records from Outlook 2007 to BCM

I am familiar with the normal export from Outlook and import to BCM However,
I have the following concern
+ when exporting from Outlook 2007 into BCM 2007, I have email address for
contacts separated into a second record from the Contact Record where the
rest of the contact detail resides.

Does anyone know the cause and soultion?
