transfer a table from word to excel

i have two tables 1 in excel and 1 in word i need to combine these both
together into excel how can it be done ???

thanks Bob but i have tired that and because of the different formats it wont
work

In Word, click Table, Select, Edit, Copy. Switch to Excel Select upper
left cell for the destination location and the r-click it and select
Paste. If the info type is not compatible, text vs. numeric you will
need to correct that manually. If the field layout of one data set does
not match the other data set you will need to correct that manually
also. There is no "magic bullet".
