transfer contacts from CD Rom to Outlook

I burned a CD Rom of my "contacts" from Outlook on my home PC and want to
transfer them to Outlook on my laptop... help?

Contacts do not exist as a separate file.
What type of file did you create and how?
Why are you not able to access them?
