Transfer data to Intranet form

I want to use a Word 2000 document with fields which have data in to transfer
that data into relevant fields on an Intranet form.

The reason is staff have a PDA with the Word document on that they would
complete while out of the office. When they are back in the office they
would transfer the Word document onto their desktop. But rather than double
keying or copy and pasting everything, they would just like to transfer the
data from the Word document to the online Intranet form all in one go.

Can this be done?

I am using Internet Explorer 6, Word 2000 and FrontPage 2000.

Many thanks for any help.

I have found the solution myself. I simply saved the online form as a Word
document, which actually submits the data just like the online form. I just
specified the complete http address in form properties.
