Transfer from Mail to Outlook

How do I deactivate Microsft Mail as the default email program. I have
installed Outlook and set it as the default, but Mail is also the default.

Two programs can't be default. Go to control panel, default programs and set
outlook as default for everything. If you have accounts set up in mail,
remove them.
