transfer license key to new PC?

Can I deactivate a MS Office Home and School license key? I would like to
re-use a key that I previously activated on an old PC that is no longer
working.

Read the EULA for the product in question.

You should uninstall or otherwise disable the installation on your old
computer.

Install Office on your new computer. Use the internet activation. If that
does not work, use the phone option to activate.

i think you will have to call up ms to activate anyway once you install
it on your current pc
