transfer office to new machine - without discs

I need to transfer my office suite to my new machine, but cannot find the
original disks. I do have the microsoft product key, is there anyway i can do
it?

Not without the disks.

If it came prinstalled on the old computer, the license dies with that
system and cannot be transferred. If you purchased it separately, follow the
link that Bob I posted.

JoAnn, not all preinstalled software is OEM. If the person activates a trial
version by purchasing the license from Microsoft it may be considered a
retail version or an OEM version, depending on the license they purchased.
The emailed receipt shows whether it is a FPP (retail), OEM or MLK (which is
the same as OEM) version. Granted if it is provided as a fully licensed
product with a computer it is probably OEM.
