Transfering Address Book to a new computer

A

Alva

I have tried to export my current Address Book to a Jaz
cartridge so I can transfer it to my new computer by
clicking "File" on my old computer while in Address Book.
But on doing so, the "Export" function is blanked out.

Can anyone help?

In Outlook, the Address Book doesn't exist as a separate entity. It's just
a view of your Contacts folder, which is contained in your PST, just like
all other Outlook items. You can either copy your PST to the other machine
and use File>Open to access or you can create a new PST, copy just your
contacts to it, and then copy that PST to your other PC. Again, you use
Outlook's FIle>Open to open it. You can then move the contacts from it to
your default Contacts folder.
