How would I set up to have predetermined value (price) from a data list on
another worksheet come up in a adjactent cell when I type in the product
name?e.g. I type in "Widjet" and $4.65 comes up in the adjacent cell. This is
in excel 2003. Many Thanks

You can achieve what you're after with either VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH
