TRANSFERRING CONTACTS FROM O/L 2000 TO O/LOOK 2003 ON NEW CPTER

All of my personal folders are on an old computer which has OUTLOOK 2000.
I wish to transfer contacts, messages, etc to new computer with OUTLOOK 2003.
I did export and created a back up file (CSV for contacts) but when I tried
to copy the file from a portable hard drive, I got error message which said
couldn't find that file.
Need help. I'm not to swift with this stuff.
