Transferring Groove Live Account/License to a New PC

A vendor who works with our organization has a Groove Live account.
Unfortunately, his PC crashed, and he had to get a new PC. As a result, he
had to reinstall Groove Live on the new PC. Since then, his instance of
Groove Live seems to be a temporary copy rather than his properly-licensed
copy. I suspect that he migrated the account improperly, but I'm not
familiar with Groove Live, as we have our own managed Groove infrastructure.
Is there documentation available that tells how to move Groove Live to a new
PC? I haven't found any.

Thanks.

It's a licensing issue...

A Groove Live license allows activation of Groove on only 1 PC.

According to what I read some time ago:
In case of changing PC, you will need to contact your local Microsoft's
customer service desk. They can reset the license for it to work on
the new PC. (limited to 1 reset every 3 or 6 months maximum I suppose...)

Hope this helps :)
