So I am trying to get Office:mac 2008 setup but I can't transfer my
identity because I do not have enough disk space to do it... My identity
is 22GB and all I have left is 8GB after I remove all documents and what
not... Reducing the identity file size is not an option...
Why is it done this way??? Why not upgrade the identity with out
duplicating it???
If something went wrong with the upgrade and corrupted your one and only
identity then what would you do? Microsoft can not guarantee that
Entourage users will make copies or backup of sensitive data, so they
must duplicate it first to prevent them from being liable for damage.
You're main problem is the size of your drive. If you only have 8GB left
then you need a larger drive or you need to offload several GB of files
to make breathing room. That's more for the Mac OS to work, not just
Entourage.
Hope this helps!
