Transferring meeting ownership in Outlook 2003 calenders

As people come and go in our office standing meetings have to be reset up
each time the person who originally set it up leaves. Is there a way to
transferr management of the meeting to a new owner?

Except for deleting the original and having the new organizer issue a new
meeting, no.
