Transferring MS Office Professional 2003 to a new computer

Hi,

Recently I bought the "Microsoft Home Use Program" version of MS Office
Professional Edition 2003" through my employer for a great price.

Now, the laptop that I installed it on is dying and I have a new laptop
on order.

When the new laptop arrives, i would like to uninstall the licence from
the old machine and transfer it to the new one.

Is it as simple as "unsinstall wizard" on the old program and then
"install wizard" on the new?

I really don't want to goof it up and have to spend hours and hours
getting it right.

Thanks!

First I'd suggest checking with your company to make sure that the
license is transferable. Other than that, it is as simple as that.
You might need to use the phone activation method but that merely
involves reading and typing long activation strings.

According to the End User Agreement, I have the right to remove it from
one of my computers and install it on a different computer. I just want
to know what the propper way to do this is.

Uninstall it from one and install it on the other. Activate it. If
internet activation fails, you'll have to use the phone activation.
That's it.
