Transferring my Office XP to another machine

I just got another laptop, and need to uninstall Office XP from the old
machine and re-install and activate it on the new one. Does anyone know how
this is done?

Did you get Office XP preinstalled on the old computer or did you purchase
it separately?

Assuming you have the CDs and the product key...

Uninstall it on the old computer.
Install it on the new computer
When prompted, select activation by telephone. Call the number and explain
the situation (if asked).
