transferring outlook 2000 message to new computer

I know this kind of question probably gets posted here all of the time, for
adding to the pile, I apologize.

Here is my version of Outlook. Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.3821)

I want to transfer all my saved emails from Outlook 2000 in their same
folders to my new computer that will be running the same version of Outlook.
In addition, I want to transfer all of my contacts and possibly any calander
entries.

What do I need to do to make this happen?

Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]

A better option is simply to copy and reuse your Outlook Data File.
Exporting/importing is not recommended because of the data loss it incurs.
