Transferring Outlook address books and folders

Malcolm

I was running Outlook 2000 under Win98. To switch my
operating system to Win XP Pro, I added a second hard
drive and installed XP Pro and Office 2000 on that
drive. I now boot from that drive (C:) but the data on
the original drive (D:) is accessible. I wish to copy my
Outlook folders and address books from the copy of
Outlook on drive D: to the copy on drive C: but I don't
know how to find them and where to copy them to.

OL stores mail etc in a *.pst file, this may be a hidden file.
In OL File/Open/Personal Folders........browse to location.
You dont 'have to' move the file, unless you wish.
