We have already designed web pages in microsoft word HTML format is it

everything?

Have you tried it yet? It would have been best if you had used FrontPage in
the first place ... it's the correct tool for the job!

The pages in word were created before we had front page....but have yet to be
uploaded them so were thinking about trying to use front page but wasn't sure
if we would have to redo everything

I had one page on our site that was created in word and saved as HTML The
browsers didn't recognize the boarders so I went to properties under file
and deleted the cline with MS word. I was scared at what would happen but
it started to work. I thought I might have ruined the whole page.

What I do is to drag the .doc file fom Windows Explorer to an open page in
FP. I've been doing it for years, and it works fine.

How well it looks will very much depend on what you have in the text and how
complicated it is. Word wasn't really designed to create web pages. Usually
the Word HTML is pretty decent, but when you get it into a real web
development tool you may spot some errors/issues. If you spot too many
errors in the conversion process or when opening it with FP, it may be
easier to just recreate it than try to find out where one odd HTML element
that Word created may be buried in the page.

Hope this helps,
