Transferring Recurring Events

How do you transfer a recurring event from one calendar to another and keep
it recurring? Whenever i try it only does it for one day then stops.

Display the source calendar in a table view like By Category and the copy the
item to the destination calendar by selecting it, then clicking Edit>Copy (or
Move) to Folder.
