transferring word newsletter to email

I created a nice-looking newsletter in word using one of the templates. I tried to copy to finished newsletter into outlook email. I did not want itto be an attachment; instead, I want the reader to see the newsletter without having to click. When I paste into the email, the pictures moved to different locations. Any ideas?

Email isn't setup to do this. Really. It's not. If you want Desktop
Publishing, publish the document as a PDF and provide a link. People
can download the newsletter if they want or just delete your email as
SPAM.

If you do HTML email (which is essentially what you're asking), many
elements will render fine, but most things like where images are within
articles, layout, etc. won't. Mostly because email is intended for TEXT
primarily.

Another thing to think about is HTML email is frequently flagged by SPAM
filtering systems and will most likely be put in to the JUNK email
folder by most ISPs or thrown out entirely by others. Once your ISP
which is sending the email newsletter is flagged as a spammer by one or
more recipients, you'll probably have to find another ISP and domain
name. Even if you send it out via a commercial mailing list provider
(e.g. tapioca), they're often flagged as SPAMMERS but don't care because
you're paying big bucks to send out such stuff. It's also why they play
fast and loose with the CAN SPAM rules.

Go with a plain text email with a link to your newsletter.
