Transitions

New to Front page and web design and on a self learning curve, does the use
of page transition cause any problems, it is considered bad design etc.etc
never see it used too much and wondered why\

Transitions slow down pages.....and probably considered by professional designers
as 'bad design' but that's opinion for you. It's really up to you and your
viewers - you can always put a survey up and ask 'do you like the transitions?
and 'how do they affect the loading of pages you your system?' type questions to
get an idea of how they are - viewing just on your system doesn't mean they will
work OK on another user's system.

People don't use them because they only
work in Internet Explorer.
