As a new member, I'm not sure if this topic has been covered before.
If so, please forgive me and point me to where I can find the info.
I'd like to translate some old (1995-1997) MS Works spreadsheets to
Excel files but haven't had any luck. I tried opening them in Excel 98
but the result was gibberish. I tried saving them as HTML but got a
similar result. I have Excel 98 running on an old beige PowerMac (OS
9.2) and Office 2004 Professional on an eMac 700 (OS 10.3). Any
suggestions will be very gratefully received.
