Transparent, animated gifs in ppXP ?

Hi!

I'm tryin' to create a presentation with transparent, animated gif in it.
The problem is, that PowerPoint seems to ignore speed information encoded
in gif. Animation is slow, unstable, and jaggy... Whatta..??? OpenOffice
Impression works fine with this gif, and some pic-viewers (acdsee f.e.) has
no problem with is whatsoever. Is there any way to control gif animation
in PowerPointXP ?
