Transport Font from one Mac to a nother Mac/PC and back

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I am using Office 2008 for Mac.

I would like to be able to distribute a PowerPoint file for editing and viewing to both Mac and PC users.

Is that possible?

Is it possible in both .ppt and .pptx formats?
