Trial of 2007 on laptop also

The license states that it is OK to copy the trial to a portable device. Can
I do this without downloading the trial to my laptop and copy the .exe files
using my network? Is it the same with the upgrade to professional version if
I get it from retail? Or - do I have to buy two upgrades?

Not sure of your exact circumstances, but a trial is not a qualifying
version for an upgrade

I have a desktop and a laptop that are upgradeable to Office 2007. I have
downloaded and installed the trial on my desktop. Can I copy the .exe files
to my laptop and install there also without a violation? Then when I purchase
the upgrade do I have to purchase two copies, one for the desktop and one for
the laptop?

Thanks

Hi Pizmo,

You can reuse the Office 2007 trial files that you downloaded but you may want to revisit the trial download site at
http://trymicrosoftoffice.com to get a unique installation key for the 2nd machine.
