Trial period expired

I downloaded Office 2007 trial a number of times and each time when i atempt
to use it i receive the error message that the trial period has expired. This
is before i have used it. What gives

this can happen in a lot of cases, but mostly because of hardware change
just after first run...by the way, is your system date/time set correctly?

Hi George,

It may be a corrupted activation file. See if using Start=>Search to locate opa12.dat and recycling it then restart the PC and try
to activate again.

Yes system and time are correct and opa12.dat could not be found on drive.
Computer is new HP 11-27-06 and came with 2007 office trial but i deleted it.
Now find i would buy it but wanted to try it first. Any thoughts.
