As noted 8/31, 5:45a, I had recurring appointments
multiplying themselves and un-deletable.
I've resolved the problem by 1-exporting the folders I use
but NOT the calendar folder, 2-renaming the outloo.pst
file so it won't function, 3-un-installing & reinstalling
Office, and 4-importing the aforementioned folders.
The rsult: all the data I need, without the multiplying
appointments
