Trim Spaces

Just wondering if there is an easy way to trim empty spaces from text that I
copy from a word document. I would like to simply copy everything in (one
cell at a time) then hit a button... and trim all the spaces from beginning
and end of the text (to allow it to line up).

Other issue is this:
I seem to repeat my work since grahics is done with one application and text
is done in word. Is there an easy way to import a word document in so that
the columns import into separate cells. Otherwise, I'm doing the horrible
long way

Any help in these areas is appreciated.

Have you tried highlighting the text and then Clicking Format > Remove Formatting??

That said, can I ask why you create text in word and then copy and paste??

Create your text right on the page in Design mode.

#1 After you have inserted your text, use the search and replace to search for 2 spaces and replace
with a 1 space.

#2 No. In Word your text would have to be in a table, then you would copy and paste the table into
your FP page.

Put your text into a table in Word, and then just drag the Word file from
Windows Explorer onto your page in FP. I've been dragging Word files into FP
for years, and it works fine. And this way, you get to keep your formatting.

I created on another computer then copied it to my development computer to
add to the web.
Not to efficient, I know. Having said that... brings up my original
question if there is an easier way to import directly into the cells. Yes I
tried the "Remove Formatting"

Lots of Jimco Addins, just did not see if anybody has gone thru that and
wote the script yet or if FP2003 provided that (which I can't find).

Thanks Steve
