i have an excel spreadsheet with all of my contacts on it. the column
headings are name, title, pfone, fax, mobile, etc... i formatted the columns
that are phone numbers to number with 0 decimal places, and all the other
fields to text. for the phone numbers, there are no parentheses, spaces,
dashes or anything else, just numbers. when i go to import it into access,
it won't recognixe the fields as numbers. any ideas as to why? TIA.
