Trouble inserting or attaching files

I am using Office Pro 2007. Whenever I try to insert a graphic or graphic
type file into a Word document the program crashes. If I try to attach a file
or graphic to an Outlook message the program crashes. Any suggestions?

Have you tried running diagnostics? Open Word, go to Office Button | Word
Options | Resources | Diagnostics.

What kind of graphic or image file are you trying to insert into Word? Into
Outlook? How are you inserting / attaching the files?
