Trouble opening XL2003 files in XL2000

Whenever I try to open a 2003XLS file in XL2000, the window flashes fo
a second, but no file is displayed. Have tried to re-install severa
times, with all the latest patches, fixes or service packs.

Any help would be most appreciated

Maybe the workbook is open, just off the visible screen.

Window|arrange|Tiled
and resize the way you like.

Maybe the workbook was saved hidden.
Open the workbook
window|Unhide
