I have a problem when I try and print a Word attachment I get the error message
"Word failed reading from this file (filename). Please restore the network
connection or replace the floppy disk and retry. I hit 'Cancel' and then
I get a message that says "Word has los data due to a bad network connection
or missing floppy. Documents relying on this data are going to be saved
and then closed."

The only documentation I found on this said to make sure Office had service
pack 2 (SR-2) installed. I installed it, but to no avail...I still have
the problem.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

If you save the attachment to your local Hard Disk, will it print then?

Once it is saved to your local drive, is it possible to open and edit it in
Word?

:
: Negative. That was one of the first things I tried while troubleshooting.

Affirmative...editing the documents is no problem. Just printing gives me
the errors I mentioned.

Thanks for your help.

A few of things to try:

Try reregistering Word in Windows by using Start, Run and typing in

winword /a

and press enter. Nothing will seem to happen but Word will reregister.

Try deleting the printer driver and testing again.

If you have Norton Anti Virus, open NAV and disable the Office Plug-in under
advanced options.
