Trouble printing

When I receive documents with logos and page numbers and when I produce
documents with logos and page numbers they do not print.On the print review
and when printed I get {SHAPE\*MERGEFORMAT} What am I doing wrong and how do
I get rid of this problem?

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, clear the check box for "Field codes."

In Tools > Options > Print, uncheck the box for Field Codes.
