I have upgraded to office 2003 and I am having trouble with my reports
printing using the default printers settings. I have over 100 reports that I
use in one database and when I converted to Access 2003 my reports quit
printing in color when the default printer is a color printer. The only way
I have been able to print in color is to go to page setup in the report and
go to page tab and select use specific printer and then printer button and
select properties on the printer and then select color, and then reselect
the default printer and then it works. Other users use this application and
if they have a different color printer then it must be done to each report
all over. The default printer preferences are set to color and all other
software prints to color.
My Question;
What do I need to do so that my access reports use all the settings that
each printer has set in the printer preference area of the windows printer
and faxes.
Thanks in advance!
I have the same trouble with a printer I use on a remote office that I need
to use tray 2. Even though I have under printer preference in the windows
printer settings tray 2 selected, Access will print to tray one and I must
change each report separately in access to get to tray 2. This never
happened when I had W2k and office 2k. I now have winXP and office 2003.
