Trouble with angled word art moving location from design to previ

Frontpage 2003 is moving the Word art locations only when angled. I can set
location in design view and when previewed I see the angled word art has
shfited location to the right and up.

Also when I edit a word art link, all word art shifts also.

Can I lock the locations or attach them ontop of the image by locations?

FYI: WordArt and other objects create with FP drawing tools will only be viewable in high quality
for users of IE browser under Windows.

WordArt (and all other VML graphics) is absolutely positioned, so
unless you are placing the VML directly in a table cell or other
non-positioned container, the WordArt does not move - the rest of the
page moves around it.
If the WordArt is placed in a table cell - the rules do not play fair
any more. Move the code for the WordArt to immediately below the
<body> tag, or immediately above the </body> tag to make the
positioning work correctly - then you will probably have more problems
with other non-positioned elements in the page.

The best way to deal with WordArt (and other VML) is to copy/paste
into a graphics editor and save as a .jpg image, then use the .jpg in
the page as a normal graphic.

Thanks for note. I have been testing in IE and Foxfire with no difference.
I have just resorted so far to realigning the word art after an edit.

Ronx, thanks for ht enote. I am placing the word art over a larger image as
links. I need the angle to align all the links, or at least that is what I
want to do. I have tested this a bit and all rotated wrod art moves while
non rotated don't move relative to the image. Therfore I am confused why it
is not all word art? The displacement does not look uniform but dependent on
the angle. I will look into making and image but I need them to be
hyperlinks.

So far I just edit them and move them back manually.
I will try your ideas thanks for thw note.

If you use add your text to the image in a image editor, then in FP you can use the Hotspot tool to
create your individual hyperlinks on the single image.

Good Idea, that would work.

Thanks
