Trouble with creating database

I am new to Outlook 2007 (although I had the older version) and just
installed BCM, and I can't get it working. I receive a message saying that it
"cannot retrieve instances of SQL server. I installed SQL server 2005, but I
am unclear of what the next step should be. It seems to be running and
working fine, but the help in not very helpful.

Please don't complicate the issues. You don't need to install SQL 2005
manually because the BCM package that came with your office has got
everything in it and so just install the BCM from the CD and let it
configure the SQL for you automatically.

I suggest uninstall SQL 2005 if you have installed it yourself because
it will only complicate the issues.
