TROUBLE with CUSTOM ANIMATIONS

B

Brendan

HELLO:
I am having some trouble trying to make some Custoom Animatioons
for my slide show. I have a cart and a title and I want the scrren to come up
blank in the slideshow the the title, then the Chart, then graph/chart fills
in last but not least the title then the graph gos away. I can do all of
these steps up to the part where the title and the Chart/graph have to exit.
My problem is that when I get it where they exit the slide before it changes,
when I start Or preview the slide again the graph shows when the slide opens
when the slide is supposed to be blank then the title and the Graph. PLEASE
PLEASE PLEASE someone help and post me some info ASAP on how to do this I
have been killing myself trying to do it. Please Get back ASAP Thank you so
so Much.
P.S If you
could give my a automated tutorial or a place to get one I would appricate it
or you could just write it THANKS AGAIN.

I have some difficulty understanding your long paragraphs...
Can't you select the graph and add an entrance effect? something like, "On
Click" or after x seconds?

Brendan,
Not all custom animations work on all graphs. The first thing I would check
is whether you have used an exit animation that works on pieces of the graph
as well as on the whole graph. Why? Because I have found that PPT seems to
like it better if you bring your graph in and send it back out with the same
level of animation.

A second option would be to have the graph exit via a motion path instead of
an exit animation.

(That said, both of those pieces of advice assume you are using PPT 2002 or
later. If you are using one of the earlier versions, post back and let us
know so we can provide better answers.)
