I'm having a problem accessing links from within HTML e-mails. My default
browser is Firefox 1.0 and I use Outlook XP to read my POPmail. Some of my
daily mail includes HTML newsletters. In this case I'm having trouble with
some of my Smart Computing HTML newsletters, the others aren't giving me
problems. They contain links to websites, but lately (and only lately - as
in the last day or so) when I click one of the links Firefox opens up and
gives me the following error message "Outbind is not a registered protocol"
and it won't load the webpage. This has never happened before.
I do realize that I could just do a Google search for these websites and
access them that way, but I really prefer the convenience of just clicking
the link and being taken directly to the web page. After all, it usually
works and that's what links are for right?
Is there anyone who can help with this?
