Trouble with Installation

I downloaded the file after registering for the beta 2 version of Office
2007. I saved the downloaded file "OPPLUS-EN" file to my hard drive.

To install the beta version I clicked on "OPPLUS-EN" file to which I
received the confirmation message - "Do you wish to proceed with the
installation" to which I reply yes the message then appears "The installation
of this package failed". I then reply OK and the installtion fails.

I have tried installing the beta on another PC with the same results.

did you try downloading the file again?
i had a similar problem with one note and worked fine after downloading
again; download was corrupt somehow
