Trouble With Recurring Tasks Do Not Regenerate

I'm having a problem with recurring tasks not regenerating when completed. I
noticed it with tasks set to "regenerate new task XX days/months... after
each task is completed," but the problem also occurs with other modes of
regenerating the recurring task.

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2 on Windows XP Pro SP3

I recently updated to SP3 of Windows XP Pro. I also recently converted my
outlook .pst data file from older 97-2002 version to the latest version of
..pst file for Outlook 2003 and newer. I'm not exactly sure when the problem
started with recurring tasks so I can't say that any of the aforementioned
upgrades caused the problem.
