I'm setting up a letterhead template in Word v.X. I have an image in
the header and an image on the left side that appears only on the
first page. I put this image in by placing it in a text box that is
anchored to the header (I followed the tutorial here:
http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/Letterhead.htm). Everything seems
to be working fine EXCEPT when I'm in the body of the document (with
"View Header and Footer" unchecked) I can delete the text box on the
left, which should be anchored to the header, by doing select-all,
delete. Has anybody else had thie problem? I can't select the text box
itself, but I can delete it because it seems to be connected to
something on the first line of text in my document.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it a vX bug? I'm designing this
template for someone to use on a PC so maybe it's something that won't
come up for them?
